This was a commissioned piece with some specific parameters. It had have characters from the ‘Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye’ comic, set in Swerve’s Bar, and it had to have front-man Jim Semonik (Rein-Forced, Red Lokust) in it. He’s a great friend and I’ve been hired to do many projects for him over the years. This painting was a Christmas gift given to him by his lady. This was a monumental challenge to do. Precision, recognizability, scale, and perspective were some of the hurdles I had to tackle. I’ve always wanted to a TF painting… so this was a nice practice piece. I can’t wait to do the next one.

Here’s a crazy idea… a painting where Freddy, Michael, Leatherface, and Jason duke it out to claim who is King of the Mountain. The idea came to me after hearing a lot of fan chatter at various horror conventions… who would win in a fight. Here’s that battle royale.

The full image used as part of the incentive for the Kickstarter campaign to fund the sophomore release for the Electro/Industrial band Rein[Forced]. This image combines a traditional painting with some digital layering of added textures and line art.

The rat-rod… the chariot of the apocalypse! A nice dust ridden painted scene of a dangerous babe with her ride.

This painting is not based on Mary Howitt’s poem of the same name… not exactly sure what the catalyst was for this piece… probably just a continuation of my ‘bad romance’ series of paintings.

This painting is a reprise of an old idea I had a few years ago. I drew it out, but never committed any paint until now only after completely overhauling the drawing first.

I was hired by the amazing sci-fi writer, Heidi Ruby Miller, to paint the cover for the initial release of her premier novel, ‘Ambasadora’. Unfortunately for me, but awesome for her, her books have been picked up by a larger publisher and re-packaged… new covers. None by me. 🙁

When the sun moves further down the hemisphere and the night grows long, the life of a leaf soon ends in an autumn jumping. I once loved a woman who deceived me. I did not try to catch her.
